Devin's 10th birthday at Mack's Apples

It's been just over 3 weeks since I gave birth to my baby boy and I am finally starting to feel a bit more human again. For me it took at least 2 weeks to begin to feel human, but every day it gets a little better as I start to get used to the idea that my life is no longer mine ;) As I sit here with a sleeping baby in his papoose (baby carrier), I figured now is as a good a time as ever to *finally* get caught up on my blog posts! Plus, since many of them are from fall, it's a great excuse to reminisce on better weather and sunshine, following a cold snap and snow storm here in New Hampshire.

I'm rewinding a few months to Devin's 10th birthday at Mack's Apples in Londonderry, NH. I loved this session so much for a few reasons; 1) I've known Erin (Devin's mom) since middle school and I still remember when Devin was born... I can't believe it was already 10 years ago and the thought of my boy being 10 is already starting to freak me out. 2) Earlier in the season we had a 1st birthday session for Devin's brother, Theo, and Devin was such a photogenic model that he pretty much demanded a session of his own. Kids who love being photographed is a bit of an oxymoron, but it makes my job so much more fun! 3) He chose Mack's Apples for his session which I love anyways, but then magically stumbled upon these crates of pumpkins, which just made it that much better and really embraced the fall theme!

Even though this was Devin's birthday session, mom and baby brother Theo joined along for the fun so, naturally, I "forced" them into a few shots. Although, Devin is such a great big brother that he wanted Theo to keep joining in on the fun even when not prompted. Devin, I hope you had a great 10th birthday and more importantly, I hope you enjoyed your surprise trip to Disney (insert jealous face here)!
