Gianna's NH lifestyle newborn session

On this Thanksgiving Eve, I have a lot to be thankful for (but then again, I always do!) With only a few weeks left until we meet our own baby, I felt it only appropriate to dedicate my pre-Thanksgiving blog post to baby Gianna's newborn session!
I first photographed her mummy, daddy and big brothers last winter at Wagon Hill Farm (check out the related blog post!) Fast forward to this past summer and I was so excited when Kimberlee reached out and let me know they were expecting a baby girl and wanted maternity photos! So we met up over the summer in Plum Island for a beautiful beach maternity session! Fast forward again and we were getting ready to do baby Gianna's newborn session! I am very lucky and thankful to be able to capture moments for families time and time again; it's such an honor to see families grow and know I'm helping them cherish the memories they've created together.
Since mom and dad also have several German Shepards (and mommy pup just had a litter of her own!) we decided to go with more of a relaxed lifestyle session at home as their hands were pretty full. Gianna was feeling a bit under the weather during our session so we tried to keep her as comfortable as possible in a nice simple onesie to keep the focus on her. The difference with lifestyle sessions versus in-studio sessions is that we focus more on the intimate connection of baby and family, and capture baby in her natural element. Not to mention I just loved the rustic New Hampshire vibe they had going with her nursery! So classic and unique compared to the traditional pink and ruffles you normally see with most baby girls.

Thank you again for letting me capture these sweet moments for your family! I hope you all continue to cherish every moment together and enjoy every second with your sweet baby.
