Ok... first of all, baby Theo was THE squishiest baby I've held, pretty much ever. I'm still shocked I actually gave him up, but apparently that would have been called "kidnapping" or something along those lines... Also how cute is the name Theo?! I'm obsessed, and I'm so happy I got to photograph him as a newborn! He was definitely the best baby I've had so far, slept the entire time minus maybe 10 minutes to have a quick snack (no offense, other babies).

I'll admit I still get nervous before a newborn session because they're such fragile little humans and they don't necessarily listen to my instruction. Some of them don't like to bend, some hate the beanbag, some will only allow me to swaddle them, etc. But, Theo, you made me realize today why I love doing this so much because you were absolutely a dream to work with!

Theo was 10 days old with an adorable head of messy hair (don't worry dad, we tucked it behind his ears) and the most precious, fat cheeks I've ever seen. He probably would have let me pose him and photograph him for at least 6 hours, but I figured that wasn't a reasonable request ;) So, for now I leave you with some my favorite images that we did get in the few hours he blessed me with his presence! Thank you, Erin, for making such a cute, well-behaved baby and for bringing him in! I hope you love the photos as much as I do!!

I just loved this expression he made in between poses! Luckily my finger was quick to the trigger! Natural moments like this make for some great photos too!
