Where to even begin with this gorgeous family... I met Ashleigh when she started teaching as a Barre instructor at Barre Chic in Salem, NH. Although this isn't intended to be an advertisement, I absolutely love Ashleigh and the whole family at Barre Chic and can't possibly write this post without giving a huge shout-out!! If you're looking for a great Barre studio in southern NH, don't even think about going anywhere else.

When she asked me to do her family portraits, I felt honored but also a bit nervous if I'm being honest! I kept thinking what if she hates them, what if I do an awful job and then can't show my face in barre anymore?! But I set my nerves aside and met up with her and her family at Mack's Apple Orchard in Londonderry. She and her family showed up adorably dressed and perfectly coordinated and at that moment I knew I had nothing to worry about.

Ashleigh and her husband Dave were so wonderful to "work" with, though I must admit this job never really feels like work, especially when I have amazing clients! Their son, Jameson, is 2 and the cutest little chubb-a-dub you'll ever lay eyes on. He had the energy of a 6 month old puppy so I had my work cut out for me! Their daughter, Natalia, is 5 going on 26. She had a loose tooth and was so careful not to let it falling out before the shoot so it wouldn't "ruin" her smile. Nothing can ruin that smile, girl! But my favorite Natalia moment, by far, is when she was telling me about her upcoming birthday; I mentioned that my wedding is the day after her birthday and her response was "Oh. You're getting married then? Why did it take you so long? Pretty much everyone else is already married." LOL, thanks girl! She was such a good sport I couldn't even be mad ;)

After we finished up the session, we promised the kids donuts - except when we got back to the market all the donuts were gone! So luckily they settled for apples (because they're amazing children) and I hung out to eat some delicious apples and get a photo of Natalia's wiggly tooth before it fell out :) And after speaking with the Tooth Fairy myself, I learned that she was indeed very good to Natalia ;)
